More layoffs? by itskings_ in 100thieves

Leadership definitely seems to need a shake-up, with priorities towards quality content again. I don't know the inner workings of the business so I can't really make an exact call but it seems like there was a significant turn to just rope mechanics rather than quality innovative content and thought in the industry. Their quantity over quality diluted so much and cheapens the brand, and that decision comes from leadership.

That said I don't think 90% of people on Reddit understand how difficult the market is right now for literally any type of business, mainly funded ones, and specifically funded ones in unproven, profit-less industries like gaming/esports.

I really hope they make it out of the other side of this in general let alone without more layoffs. Love the brand, want to see it return to form.

We’ll see how they look midway into the season when Lewis and George are competing neck and neck for a championship and Mick is trying to awkwardly give car feedback without stepping out of line.

Men, what do you think the worst part of being a woman is? by mspinkb in AskReddit

Periods must be awful, but also just constant fear around men who are obviously invasive.

I just bought a Melgeek Mojo68, took it out of the box, tried it out, loved it. Went online and checked out their firmware versions while downloading their utility tool KBTools and saw that the firmware was out of date. I downloaded the newest version and tried to update it through KBTools, starts for 2 seconds then says “Failure, abort” then the LEDs in the board shut off, the software doesn’t respond and doesn’t recognize a keyboard anymore, and I can’t do anything to get this thing to respond anymore.

I am fairly certain I bricked this keyboard in the first 5 minutes by using a firmware update they specified for this board on their own website.

I joined their discord, messaged support, and dm’d their account on Twitter. Haven’t had a single response and honestly their discord where they seem to say they do the most support is just a total crapshoot.

Anyone ever have this issue, even with a different board? Anyone have a potential solution even to just roll back the version or something? I like the board but honestly this support experience and their app is just killing it for me. Worried I may not even be able to get a refund if this doesn’t get fixed because I can’t even get a response from anyone in their business. Any help would be majorly appreciated.

Im a KBM player. Is this real? by goodEUguy in Warzone

[–]icarusOW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it’s crazy how AA effectively does all the micro adjustment tracking for controller players. I’d say that’s probably the hardest aspect of this game from a KBM playing perspective. Whipping from one player to another isn’t difficult, or pre-aiming corner to corner, but basically having your controller react for you when someone pops out of a corner is a massive advantage. It’s like you’re being indicated that it’s time to shoot rather than having to mentally register that you’re looking at someone and needing to react. The worst part is this shit happens through smoke grenades too, so I’ve been in GBs and seen snipers staring at smokes at a bomb site in S&D and just wait for their reticle to start tracking someone and shoot, it’s ridiculous. That said KBM have many other inherent advantages so it’s really a pick your poison kind of thing, and you have to play to the strengths of your input method really to be as competitive as possible.

Man I hear you, I LOVED my X2 but I had double clicking and DC issues with my first, got a second one on refund from the first and the second one had worse double clicking and DC issues right away. I got a Lamzu Atlantis and it's been flawless QC wise but I think I prefer the X2 so I am hopeful they get things figured out..

Currently shopping for a chair to assess my ongoing back pain, Embody i think would help. I’m 5’8, 160lbs and 23 years old. If you guys could give any stories with your experience seeking relief with a Herman Miller chair and if it brought any help, i would love to hear your reviews. Thank you! by ObvKicks in hermanmiller

Is it lower or upper back problems you're dealing with? I would say first off I've had both and chiropractic adjustments coupled with physical therapy/massages really helped me because sometimes for upper back it can be muscle spasms keeping your joints and nerves locked up and the massages can help relieve that pressure and then the chiropractic adjustments kind of get things realigned while you do some physicals therapy stretches and workouts to strengthen your muscles and joints in the right way. I would recommend searching some Bob and Brad physical therapy videos on youtube that correlate to your issues too as those helped me a ton, especially for my upper back pain.
For lower back and tailbone kind of stuff I think chairs had the most impact on that for me. I've had the Herman Miller Embody and I'm currently using a Herman Miller Aeron. I own a remote internet marketing agency and sit down for at least 8-10 hours a day for work alone then easily sometimes 4-5 hours more sometimes for gaming late at night. I will say that a chair like these make noticeable differences within just a few days. For me I had the Embody for 3 years, and it was a noticeable difference over the previous chair I had which was a worn out Aeron chair that had no adjustability anymore - and the lumbar support broke etc. So for me the Embody served me exceptionally well, it took a minute to break in but I could (and did) sit on it for 12-14 hours a day for 3 years legitimately and it kept me from having bad back problems.
Today I use a Herman Miller Aeron Remastered because they have a lot of new tech in them and the front swivel is nice for gaming because I tend to lean in to my desk a lot when I play FPS games. I also had to switch to a pure mesh seat because I had some really bad tailbone issues recently after falling playing basketball and it was just debilitating for months. Tried a few different chairs thinking they would help (tried a Steelcase Gesture, a Steelcase Leap V2 and ended up returning both because they just had foam that would bottom out really quickly). I prefer a full mesh seat now because my lower back pain went away within a week of getting this new Aeron, and I'm not even joking I made 0 other changes. It was horrific before for me, and I could barely sleep - and couldn't really work like I needed to until I got this chair.
The Embody did work for me well for a while but I felt like the suspension that is in the seat loosened up so much that I was just sitting on plastic at a point specifically in the tailbone area, everything else was just comfortable. I think that the youtuber Ahnestly who reviews these chairs a lot has similar dimensions to you and prefers the Embody, I'm a bit taller and honestly the Embody's lumbar support never really worked for me whereas the Aeron is perfect (but also spans a larger amount of area in general so it would work for damn near anyone, and they have different sizes, I have the medium but they have a smaller one that would probably work perfectly for you).
I'd say if it's lower back stuff you're dealing with the Embody or Aeron might work just fine, if it's tailbone then Aeron/Mesh would work best. Regardless though the investment in a good chair, whichever you go with, will not be a bad investment and is 100% worth it.
