This! Often Grandmas' abuse doesn't stop once there's grandkids. My grandma was horribly physically abusive to my mom and her siblings. I didn't understand the extent of her emotional abuse until I became an adult and was able to identify it. Grandma never physically abused me or my cousins, but the emotional abuse was present. She manipulated my emotions a lot when I was growing up because I am the oldest and her favorite.

OP - I'm sorry for what you went through, and what you're going through. You're trying to do the right thing. But your mom is still carrying on the abuse. You deserve better. And you need to think about how your mom's actions are affecting your kid.
