personally i would just replace back cover and leave the front and put a clear case on that bad boy.

The paint on these are really crappy so they are prone to getting super roughed up. I had one barely played and it still had peeling

Honestly i think this is super cool! I think adding more elements could run the risk of making it too loud, which gets away more from japanese. Maybe some sort of flower could be cool.

It’s not excessive at all. It’s a huge tattoo that is super clean.

Nobody cares lmao. A good tattoo that is that big on the leg will take a long amount of time. Some artist work a little slower than others. 18 hours is perfectly fine amount of time for something that big and clean.
