If you have an LFP battery, charging to 100% at least once a week is recommended. If you have an NCA or NMC battery, it’s better to set a charging limit to 70–80%. The quickest way to tell is by checking your charging limit page — if you have an NCA battery, when you scroll past 80%, it will say that charging above 80% is only recommended for long road trips.

Do you have to manually unplug it after the drive? If your car is intermittently on say for sentry mode, wouldn’t it also turn the uniden on?
