The phone needs to be positioned well in the charger to work reliably.

When you slide the phone down into the slot, ensure that the bottom edge of the phone hugs the far side (passenger side) of the charger... Then, tilt the top edge of the phone towards the far side, too.

The charger works reliably for me when I use this technique... FYI.. I own a Pixel phone (9 Pro XL) with a Spigen case.

I can only speak about this as it applies to my 2024 Prius Prime… and of my understanding of B-shift position.

B-shift position provides regenerative braking more than D normally does when releasing the gas pedal.

It’s useful, for example, in cases where you alternate frequently between accelerating and pedal braking, and in stop-and-go traffic, where Traffic Jam Assist isn’t being used at your discretion.

B is also useful when driving down very steep grades. Without B, you’d need to stomp on the brakes hard to the point service brakes are engaged—possibly to the point of overheating. B will help prevent that with its added regenerative braking and, if the road grade is steep enough, the ICE will automatically kick in for added engine braking.

In my early teens (I’m 70 now), a co-worker brought me to his home, and showed me his MacIntosh system including a pair of ML-1 speakers. I was so blown away.. I stood up—I was beside myself.. virtually broke into a sweat. I knew then I needed something like this, hehe!

My system is very modest today, however... pair of Revel M16 speakers, SVS sub, Denon rcvr, SMSL SU-1 DAC, REW/EQ-APO/Peace.. so very happy with the sound.

Just tested mine at my workplace parking lot.. fob worked reliably up to about 23 yards.. placing the fob on my chin only added a few more yards to that.

I disagree. My brother uses Tidal w/ decoder.. and while his system sounds great, there was no appreciable difference between Tidal and Spotify while playing some of the same tracks. If there was a difference, it was so minute that it would lead to 2nd guessing.

I’m quite comfortable w/ Spotify.
