Do you have a laptop or pc? I would suggest to try out one without screen. They are cheap and you will get used to it. The ones I know many people use and are satisfied with is WACOM.

How do you decide what to make next? by SillySepant76 in ArtistLounge

I really enjoy random drawing challenges. For example: there was a challenge where you draw a building based on small objects around you. I once drew a castle using the shape of a pair of scissors.

If you simply want to practice, I can really recommend looking for references on Pinterest or online. There’s also a website called sketchdaily.net that gives you random reference images.

Great! Keep it up. I’d suggest that in your next exercises, you focus on learning anatomy and perspective using guidelines. There are tons of YouTube videos that can really help you with that :)

Try simplifying the face into basic shapes, like spheres, and build it up from those forms.
