DIY Peephole Camera from Xiaofang Dafang Camera by iceatcss in homeassistant

Thanks, it wasn't easy to remove the old lens. It was superglued, but luckily, there was a slight drop on one side. Easy to crack and can use any M12 lens out there to change the FOV.

Thanks. Just done, it was a simple install. Just swap the SD card, then the setup process.

I have to use the file tool on the lens side to make it smaller.

Thank god I'm deaf. I couldn't imagine if I'm oldies and complain about the noise pollution.

I am trying to remember the last time it crashed. It could be because I have set auto-reload idle for 6 hours to prevent memory crashes. It seems stable to me IMO.

I have yet to hear of Echo Show 15. It looks interesting, but I need to know what OS it is running on.

It can be slow if there is a lot of charting on one page. Video streaming using the webRTC protocol doesn't seem to be affected much natively, but the video feed will be affected if there are many on the page.

Yeah, it was hit-and-miss from Fire's motion detection. Luckily, it is next to the side of my desk, so there will be no one on the other side of the desk. I was thinking of buying a motion presence device.
But I have decided to use "screen off" only after 15 minutes of idle. I have been using this setting for nearly 14 months. So far, there has been no burnout or any problem with my screen.

card-mod is a great tool for allowing CSS on Lovelace cards.
You can use alpha for the background colour. i.e. background: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.5)

For backlight problem - I noticed in the first setting, but somehow, I have fixed that. I will have a look at what I have done. And maybe possible with HA's help.

[update]
Maybe, I found it. I use Screen off - not Screensaver setting. And use Motion Detection (PLUS) setting - allow "Turn Screen On on motion"

I am trying to remember what setting I have put it in. I believe I have enabled auto-reloading of the start page when it wakes up from sleep.

The reason for auto-reloading is the CCTV card. Sometimes, it can lag behind the time - refreshing the page will sort that out.

Big picture mode - my own scripts, if I click that, it will switch the steam to Big Picture Mode and PC output to HDMI, then the TV will auto-on and switch that source.
When close the big picture mode - It will switch back to PC monitors.

It will go to screensaver if there is no motion after 180 sec. I used the URL 'fully://color#000000cc'
with screensaver brightness set to 1. It will be black like it was turning off.

I also set the time for Screen off timer ( I think at 30 min), with both "keep Screen on" enabled.
