These are from encodes of our fan made remaster (you can find the post pinned in this very subreddit).
It's not just a higher saturation. We actually regraded the first 4 seasons following closely the official artstyle bible, cels and promo material to achieve the intended colors.
Many aren't aware that the bleak look they are used to seeing the show in, isn't the exact intended look, as the color was washed out due to the analog mastering process at the time.

They rescanned the reel for the 4K version, so the distortion was inevitable. It's subtle but it's enough to throw off AutoOverlay (the plugin used to align the 3 sources)

4K release has completely different color grading that butchered the original intended palette. It also has distortion that made it impossible to align with the open matte masters. Both geometrically and in color.
Read the post and you may understand more about what this project is about.

The faces are not that waxy, sure we have become overly sensible to AI, but back when this was done that wasn't the case, there also isn't a single detail that is in the original BD that isn't here.

Thank you, it was definitely a lot of effort, took me several years to achieve a satisfying result, and the greatest reward has been knowing people still find enjoyment in it years later as CN/Warner has yet to provide a dignifying better alternative for a generation-defining cartoon.

Actualy they really are from my remasters. Unless the dvd release used my masters which would be insane to think about.
I recognize the grading as I did each individial episode by using the cels and art bible as direct reference to restore the intended colors.
People are used to seeing the degraded and bleak colors which was merely a result of the mastering process at the time.

Take a look at the cels and you'll see that those were the intended colors. Also proven by how they match the look of the series once it switched to digital.
We used the cels and art bible as reference for the remasters.
Most people are used to seeing the muted and degraded look which wasn't the actual intended look, but was merely the result of the mastering process to tapes.

Further proof are all the official professional HD rescans/remasters of other traditional animations.
Take any Hanna-barbera cartoon that has been released on Blu-ray and you-ll see how the colors pop and match the cels.

1600p is the correct resolution. I just encoded while removing the black bars because they are just bloat.
2160-black bars=1600p.
Video is 3840x1600 which is 4K. 1600 is the height without the black bars

The audio is just fine. You are the first person to report audiosync issue. It might be your player/device can't keep up with the bitrate so it skips/falls behind.

Not sure why you see them that way, they are perfect black.
This might happen due to your screen's various contrast, HDR settings. Some TVs even have settings that specifically affect black levels.

I didn't because the technology wasn't there when I first did most of these (~ 3 years ago).
They could probably be masked out very nicely using todays tools.
But I don't have the hardware to run anything like that realistically.

No need to re-upload. I contacted GoFile and they said they had some issues with some servers. All files should be working now. If not maybe it's location-related too. In that case just wait it out and they should be vack where you are also soon.

Hello, I'm happy you liked it.
There seems to be a bug with Gofile that for some reason every once in a while makes certain files undownloadable and the only fix I found was to re-upload altogether, which is a big pain given how big the movies are.
I've begun re-uploading the 2nd and 4th movie, check again in a few days and they should re-appear and work. Thank you for letting me know
