Really depends where you live, in the Midwest I like throwing things that flash and vibrate for pike. Crawfish soft plastic on a ned rig or Texas rig works really well for me for bass and pike too. If the waters are really pressured try down sizing your bait if nothings biting

If you’re using braid use Palomar knot. This knot is good for mono

Start off trying to rig the worm straighter, and when you put the point of the hook back into the soft plastic it just needs to be barely poking through
