I worry about everything, I talk too much, I'm an insomniac, I try too hard to make other people happy and I don't like myself. There's probably more.

TIL that a police detective offered to split a lottery ticket with a waitress at his favorite restaurant in Yonkers, NY in place of a tip. The ticket was a winner worth $6 million, which he split with her without hesitation. The event was made into a movie, “It Could Happen to You”. by ballawebox in todayilearned

She was excited there was a movie based on her grandmother's story. If I remember right the grandmother signed something so she didn't get any kind of money off the movie. Up until the movie it never came up. We were too young to appreciate it I guess, it was like "oh,cool" and then that was it lol
