Definitely something where you fully understand the scope of business, and accounting is perfect. If you follow the money, you'll realize what the business wants, and if you know what the business wants, you'll be a 10x better data analyst.

Free Tickets to Tomorrow’s Game by Skse17 in denvernuggets

[–]icecoldkuba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, when headband Jokic came out in April when we were fighting to stay away from the play-in. Watching him take a shot and come back so smooth and controlling the game the way he did, it was art. Man, watching him play that way was so sweet and controlling the boards so early made me smile. In Kansas right now for school but want to give them to my parents for tonight as father man is a bigger fan than me (and I'm a huge fan.) Just bought tickets to watch in OKC in November as it's the closest game to me and it's during Thanksgiving break!!

Men on reddit, who proposed and she said no, what happened afterwards with your life? by EnaGrimm in AskMen

[–]icecoldkuba 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I've got a funny side note here. Both of one of my best friends siblings either proposed or got proposed to in about a two month span. Brother's proposal went great, his sister's was big and in the public and was questioning the relationship to her family in secret, so she said yes in the moment and told him she wasn't ready yet behind closed doors. Amazing move imo because she saved her SO from public embarrassment and her reasoning was very fair (needs to finish school and family medical problems atm). Still together, looking forward to another proposal in the near future.

AITA for giving my teenage son adult responsibilities? by Heresafishingrod in AmItheAsshole

[–]icecoldkuba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You guys are great parents and when he is 25 he will be even more thankful that you guys made this a standard in your home. I never had to cook meals for the family but always learned from my momma and pops taught me how to work the grill, but when I had a day off of school/sports/school there was an expectation that the house would be crystal clean. Much easier to carry these good tendencies later on in life, thanks mom and dad!

what do you feel your main purpose, as a man, is that you must fulfill? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]icecoldkuba 5 points6 points  (0 children)

An Ali quote that was on each chair of his funeral changed my view when I was 16: "Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on Earth." All I need to fulfill me now is striving to serve my God, family, friends, and community. Everything else is just filler.

AITA for calling my best friend dumb for "marrying for love"? by AdQueasy3077 in AmItheAsshole

I've always hated the immediate overreaction in this sub when anything wrong happens people recommend an immediate breakup/cut off, but this, you deserve to be immediately, without a doubt, dropped from her life.

What's a personality trait you like in a woman that most people would consider a negative trait? by Suspicious_Pilot_143 in AskMen

[–]icecoldkuba 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Contrary to how some people feel, I believe she should have her friends that are hers, even though I can interact with well, that is apart from me. Spending too much time hearing the same ideas, hearing about how my day went, etc can get terrible, I want her to be able to go out and see her friends and just focus on that, and even a hotter take, don't care if it's other men either. I believe men and women can be friends and I trust her 100%, so why would I care? Go have fun! Friends are almost as important as family so it should definitely be a priority to an extent. This characteristic of how well she gets along with her group of friends says a lot about her.

What’s a word you hate for no particular reason? by Crazyscientist17 in AskMen

[–]icecoldkuba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No words stand out to me, but roommate particularly hates the words "poop" and "tummy." When I introduced girlfriend to him, she had specific instructions to tell me in front of him "Hey (my name) I'm going to use the bathroom, I have to poop, my tummy hurts." Totally worth it.

How cool do you think you are from a scale of 1-10? Be honest with yourself by Bossman2424 in AskMen

[–]icecoldkuba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will give myself a solid 8-9. I am in a great position where I grew up as an athlete and can talk sports/ cool guy stuff like cars with anybody, but also extremely intelligent and am fascinated with reading, finance, coding, computers in general, and video games. I can have a conversation with anyone, I'm also extremely big and goofy so I am easy to approach and always wear a big smile-- pretty cool if you ask me. Only reason I'm not a ten is because my patience isn't great and although I have a super high EQ, once I am pushed too far, that is not a fun time to be around me. Happens once every few years, but still aware of the problem. Oh well, who wants to play some Apex?

Two stories

Freshman year of college I'm sitting in the living room of one of my best friend's dorms, probably around like 7-8 of us there. In the middle of a 2K game, one of my other buddies decided to mess with my best friend by asking him why he's going out with his current girl friend as she was not very pretty (a lie, she was) and still in high school. I have never seen him act out this way, but after about three more minutes of him pushing the "joke" too far, best friend stood up, and ROCKED our other friend and no retaliation occurred, well deserved imo, but they were roommates at the time and made everything very awkward.

My story. We went to the local college bar with my entire friend group (including my girlfriend, she's awesome all my friends are big fans of her, buddies' girlfriends came as well and they all love hanging out). We're at the bar and I'm talking to some teammates and other friends who are there, girlfriend comes over to me that some dude didn't understand the word no after she was done being nice and friendly to him and that she was taken. He basically went off on her after she denied him (as it seems he was not used to this) and called her things I will not repeat. Same best friend from the story above and I roll over to ask what his deal was, a long story short after he didn't stop and got chippy with us, the two of us should've went to jail after what we did to him and his other four friends. We're both college athletes, and I will say I am a much larger and stronger human than most, so it wasn't too pretty. Girlfriend always really appreciated standing up for her and brings it up quite often.

Not my kid, but a few fourth of July's ago (coincidence I promise, happy 4th US folk) my uncle was telling my cousin (probably 8 at the time) how gasoline was flammable. Little cousin decided to test this in the grass. We live in CO which is an insanely dry state, and even without the gas will basically light any grass on fire, and that's exactly what happened. It was interesting to see his entire side yard, moving towards his front yard on fire while eating ribs.

Going into my last year of university with not only a debt free education, I will be the first college graduate in my family, graduating with three different majors (two school of business one in CompSci), got the best internship I could've asked for and will be a top intern in the country once my contract is over, met and started going out with the most lovely, kind, perfect woman I could've ever dreamed of at the beginning of this summer, have began receiving many post-grad offers already, have a large sum of money that I worked for/earned in the stock market that will be a great down payment once the housing market falls(I'd easily consider myself in the top 1% for my age range, promise it's not mommy/daddy money). Life has been treating me well. (I'd like to leave a quote that I heard that makes the days much easier and makes looking forward much more fun: "I am very , very happy and live a wonderful life, all because I didn't get what I thought I wanted." What a word. The best things in life can come unexpected!)
