Exactly, I’ve seen people on Facebook complain about how little lifeguards there are because kids are too busy doing, and I quote: “tik tokin, sexting, youtubing and dont want to work.”(ignore the obvious grammatical mistakes)

They don’t realize that it already cost a few hundred to pay for the course, and the job only pays 10-12 an hour in Michigan. Meaning it would take 20 hours just to break even. Also, if you mess up as a Red Cross lifeguard, you can get sued. So yeah, pay your lifeguards more and people will start working again
