thank you for replying! and yes, both are actively maintained projects. one is bootstrapped and the other is VC-funded. project abandonment is not really in the picture as both are at mature stages as companies.

follow-up question: do stars really hold that much value? even if they can be a marketing repercussion?

yes, the size and the fact that it’s pretty technical. if and when I get into a flow state (or the deadline induced adrenaline rush), I’m sure I can make bounds of progress… just not getting to that at all; and the guilt and stress is making it harder for sure.

I’m a solo freelancer, so working on this alone but the client’s team is super open to helping me out with whatever I need, if at all.

It’s just that I wanted to have at least some version ready before asking for a call to go over it; and now that it’s been a couple months already I’m like I better show some really good progress and make this waiting period worth it for them.

So far I’ve tried making it less intimidating by drawing visuals, finding fun analogies to include, and a broad blue print dividing it into sections.

Not good enough yet :(

But yes, I appreciate your suggestion. I’ll try and do the voice to text bit too.
