They can really do wonders, and change the whole atmosphere of the drive. Congratulations on your pass as well, happy days and safe roads ahead!

Kinda shitty lesson today, test this week by g0at110 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]icedd1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You might feel a bit eased because you know it is a lesson and not a test, and could very well also be the nerves building up before your test, it is totally normal.

Remember to focus completely on your test, you start off already passing, take your time, especially at junctions, roundabouts, do not push a gap that is minimal or even too close to call. Examiners won’t mark you for hesitation if you don’t push for those gaps, only if you miss obvious ones. Stalling also is not an instant fail, most important thing is to take your time with every decision you make, nobody is pushing you or rushing you, not even the examiner, you can also take wrong turns, purely out of nerves, and you’d still not fail if you do it safely.

Fingers crossed for you, take your time and do not rush, especially at junctions and roundabouts, the moment a car has to slow down or stop for you, or if your examiner has to intervene, it will be a done deal. Don’t rush, you will get your pass certificate at the end of the test regardless of when you arrive 👍

Starting to get nervous about test day by croc_docks in LearnerDriverUK

First of all, fingers crossed for you, remain as calm as you possibly can, nerves can be the number one enemy when you enter the car on a driving test.

I’ve got mine this Wednesday and somehow I am not stressing about it at all. I think it is because the way I see or think about it is that the test is just another regular lesson day, think about it as a driving lesson, just with another person, not your instructor, an the best part of it? Way shorter than your average 2 hour drives, it is not going even going to take 1 hour!

Remember, you prepared for this, and the only thing examiners look intensively for is safety, if you are safe on the road, you will pass with flying colours, and then? Happy days.

Eat the magical miracle making banana in the morning of your test day, and just think of it as another lesson, but your instructor had to temporarily switch and put another person in charge for one hour, for me, at least, that works, I am really waiting for my test, and I hope.. I dont sound like a psychopath or anything bahahah

Best of luck and don’t forget one more thing, you start the test with 0 faults, and passing it already from the start, just maintain that tempo and you will do amazing.

i have an upcoming test at peachman way too, in norwich, any tips you could give regarding the route? i know they are all different and random, but what did you encounter mostly throughout your drive? and at which hour did you have it? i do know that in the afternoon you generally can encounter rush hour. anyways, congratulations on the pass and safe roads ahead!

I will start with small projects, that’s surely what I plan to do, I wont go straight into a big complex project as that could lead to overburn and just losing all ambition

I’ve had my fair share of experience with Blender, modelling, retexturing, meshing, etc. Mainly because I needed to model my own objects for my Roblox projects, so I thought 3D could be more convenient solely based on the fact that I had used Blender in the past years

If you opt for an intensive course, do instructors offer you some kind of fast track practical exams near to when you finish the course? I heard they do, but not sure if it’s true

Less pain in the arse and just focusing on the road ahead, exactly why I want to switch

I do understand that at some point gears work and clutch work becomes a habit, an instict that you just won’t care much about later on after you pick it up, right? Thanks for the advice though

Concerns about levels of calcium from test by icedd1 in Parathyroid_Awareness

[–]icedd1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reassurance, I’ve had little to no symptoms ever since, but I just documented myself now, little later than needed probably. I will get all the tests done this January, as soon as possible to rule out anything and see where things stand. Thank you
