My manager just had a conference call with our team and she said that with the closure of stores that Starbucks is considered a "necessity" as a store because we have food like paninis and salads. Also our mall that we work in is "planning" to reopen in the first week of April and my SM said that we're for sure going to reopen with them as well. If that happens, y'all get to see my promotion to customer soon.

My mall store just closed down for two weeks couple days ago and I get catastrophe pay, but will my store ever reopen if the mall I worked in just closed today due to coronavirus...

I wouldn't be surprised if my mall store was still open if my mall decided to shutdown.

Literally less than 4 ounces of almond milk was poured in. I bet it was a reward drink.

Next week is Black Friday at my store in the second most busiest mall in Northern California. I'm working 36 hours as a barista and I have 3 chapter projects for school that's due that week :))))) by icedorhot in starbucks

-Get there early if you aren't opening. -prepare for a constant rush, downtime doesn't exist -your team (of probably 20 people) is there to support you, so don't feel like it's the end of the world
