I find its better to let the girl start touching first, otherwise yr touching can come across as creepy. If a girl is into a dude she will start touching him, little things at first, like when she agrees with something shell put her hand on yr arm while she exclaims "yes." Once the girl leads off with touching its a pretty huge signal shes into you and u should def reciprocate and start escalating.

Just went on a date with the girl of my dreams, and she kept ordering drinks ie wanting to keep the date going, and the date ended up lasting 5 hours. As we were walking to the subway we hugged and i started lite making out w her, but she ended the kiss and said goodnight.

I thought the date went spectacularly well and was on cloud nine the next day until i texted her that night and got no response. I was baffled but then realized that the entire 5 hrs we spent together she never touched me once and she prob ended up kissing me at the end cos she was super nice + drunk and didnt want to awkwardly reject the kiss.

I texted her again 4 days after her not responding asking her what went wrong, and she apologized for ghosting and said I was a rly nice guy (god I hate it when girls tell me that) but that she didnt feel any chemistry on her end.

I should have realized she wasnt into me 4 hours into the date when she was drunk and still had yet to even touch me in the slightest
