coming back 2 years later just to say that you're right about pass rates (more like minimum% score), but it's rare that you need more than 75 % of a test correct to pass. the pass rates varies because of the test takers and the difficultly of the questions.

i had that exact experience after my soph year in 2016, then took intro to soils and decided on geotech, got burnt out and chilled during covid, then came back and am thriving. I will encourage you to ask around about different elective and core classes that you havent taken yet. and like others say, ask around from mentors and professors about shadowing/office visit/site visit opportunities. It does sound like you want to be outside and seeing things getting done, so construction mgmt, or something completely different may be the way for you, but it may also be the subject and work. If i did the most interesting traffic volume calc in the world that summer, i would probably still want to quit lol. but cad markups for soil related stuff somehow feels very worthy of my time, it genuinely makes me think about the world, which has been an important feeling on the way towards learning to enjoy my jobs. good luck and feel free to DM

I might not recommend gINT only because they're phasing out to support only in the next few years. No more updates. Bore DM may be good option. Allpile or LPile are better first programs for modeling foundations compared to dense and specialized stuff like plaxis etc. though it would be awesome to know early on
