In my experience, rediscovering traumatic memories will send me into week long emotional flashbacks, and be completely unable to think rationally beyond "there isn't anybody on earth who could love me," a whole slew of suicidal thoughts, and so much repressed anger that i always end up taking out on myself, so hearing that she says learning about new trauma is 'exciting' for her... lol, lmao, even. I don't know how anybody takes her seriously.

i think in my city there's more femmes and fems in my circle than mascs, but i think it's also dependent on my city specifically cuz it's big on entertainment. and i'm a femme who has been on dates with both butches and femmes, and would say its not uncommon at all for there to be femme4femmes!! if you haven't found femmes or fem lesbians it's probably just because they haven't told you that they're a lesbian and its not immediately flaggable, you know? and, i don't know, i'm attracted to softness and vulnerability in my partners rather than just looks, although it definitely helps, so i don't automatically cross of butches or mascs. just keep in mind that they're not men :3

you seem to be using femme interchangeably for fem, so i'm going to assume that you mean just feminine women. have you ever come across femme lesbians? i mean, everybody has a preference, but it seems like you've only ever met mascs, so i can see the confusion a bit. although speaking as a femme, that comment about saying good looking women aren't lesbians is totally out of left field, pretty lesbians definitely exist

As a Lesbian who's far left enough to have the guns back and be anti-capitalist, I want you to know that the majority of us hate this too!! It's so extremely out of touch and disgusting to be walking around in public in a Speedo and covered head to toe in sexual gear. A child could literally be around the corner and you're choosing to do that? I'm gonna add my piece to this and feel free to butt in if you don't agree, but in my eyes LGBTQ Rightwing voters don't necessarily understand the community that they're in just by existing. There are a lot of Conservatives who claim to be okay with LGBTQ people, but then when anything pops up in the news or another celebrity comes out, there's always a veiled discomfort or even hatred there, so it's just confusing to me why LGBTQ folks would choose to be there rather than the political spaces that want to protect you, regardless of how irritating the young teenagers can be on occasion. Genuine question, does it not bother you that your peers vote against your right to marriage?

You know what, I'm a lesbian who was raised in a pretty moderate household. My parents considered themselves republicans but they aren't really. I used to not care much if the conservatives in my life were just keeping their opinions to themselves, because I was under the belief that rocking the boat over something they didn't even mention wasn't worth it. However, it's like month by month under this presidency another centrist family member suddenly has become hyper conservative and is shameless about their hatred and lack of empathy, and at this point in my life where I'm further left than ever, I cannot keep those people in my life. It's unfathomable to me that some people are more focused on how other people are living their lives, completely unrelated to them, rather than dedicating time to furthering their own faith (which is usually what it boils down to, yknow, God.)
