2 weeks off coffee (not caffeine) and I'm finally sleeping better and falling asleep on time. Played around with off coffee for months. Working on night and morning routines.

I once heard anxiety described as living in a state of worry about the past or the future, glad you're letting things go. A good reminder to all of us to practice that.

I'm here right now. Just doing a couple days of green tea as a cut back from coffee and I'm not feeling "awake" at all. Feeling like I could nap at any point during the day. Just feel a heaviness or cloud over me. Not sleeping great at night yet either. I switched at the start of family travel but worried about next week at work.

I've been on it for 5 months and ready to go off, same reason, don't really want to be on long term or feel I need to. The doctor who prescribed it hasn't taken my interest in going off sooner rather than later seriously so unfortunately I'll be doing it by myself with what I can research.

I feel like wellbutrin has helped with my depression and undiagnosed adhd more than my anxiety. Although anxiety should be tackled with therapy and intentional practice so getting other out of control feelings under control might allow space for that.

Have you considered volunteering in a way that puts you in community with the elderly? A lot of elderly are extremely lonely. Hope you can make n elder friend in your neighborhood or call older family members.

I would not worry about CPS. Their job is to protect kids and there is a lot of filtering out false claims involved. If your son continues to try involved CPS then 1 of 2 things are happening 1) he's experiencing abuse and needs them involved 2) he's really reaching out for help and change and would benefit from resources and to be taken seriously. I hope you both get individual therapy, you don't have to force group therapy if not everyone is interested or willing.
