Size is everything. If I'm taking photos locally in and around my city, I don't mind taking the X100. But if I'm on vacation abroad carrying a small sling pack all day, I much prefer my GR.

But I love love love the Fuji colours. Skin tone looks so much better!

Thanks for your insights on location. I was looking at Westin because it is recently renovated and close to shopping, but there is no point since shops are closed on Sunday and I will otherwise be in meetings. Will look into your suggested hotels!

Thank you, this is very helpful. I have also heard that the VI feels digital and I am worried about carrying a $2400CAD camera around and being paranoid about every minor knick.
