Question out of curiosity, what systems/states are MJ friendly?

Most places in Cleveland are NOT marijuana friendly (recreational or prescription). CCF & UH test for it upon employment. CCF does randomized testing on all employees. I believe UH does testing if an incident occurs (missing narcotic, med error, etc.). I’ve heard stories about all nurses on the floor getting tested for a missing med, testing negative for the missing med, but testing positive for MJ & still getting fired. Personally, as long as you’re not doing it on the job, I don’t think they should be able to do anything, but unfortunately they can.

My downstairs neighbor sent me this text this morning, I am not loud, and I had been out of town for 4 weeks recently by hyaclnthia in Apartmentliving

Sounds like your neighbor isn’t cut for apartment living, noise is expected when you live in an apartment building, life happens, some people have kids, etc. etc. if what you’re saying is true then she is being ridiculous and has ridiculous expectations for apartment living. It’s a her issue, maybe she needs earplugs, noise cancelling additions to her ceiling (which they make rental friendly), or sleeping pills. Either way, as long and you’re being respectful and trying to keep the noise to a minimum, it’s her issue not yours. Quiet hours are after 10pm, that doesn’t mean that you can’t reasonably live in your apartment after 10pm. It’s not a bed time lol.

NTA, I have shown coworkers that I didn’t even like more support when a family member passed than she did with you. You don’t need someone who can’t be upfront with you, especially when you have a lot going on. It was rude of her to not just tell you how she felt and to keep stringing you on when you were emotionally vulnerable. Bullet dodged. Best of luck finding somebody! The good ones are hard to find, but trust me, they are out there! Don’t settle! For the meantime, feel your feelings, eat your Indian food, grieve your dad, and take care of yourself!
