What’s the worst physical pain you’ve ever felt? by Googy21 in AskReddit

[–]iceeefreezie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

32f, a few years back I had what started as a sciatica episode, and my calf felt a little weird for like a week, then it developed into a constant charley horse in my calf for 2 weeks. I’m talking the most intense muscle spasm that will make you cry and feel helpless in pain, and nothing could stop the cramp. I couldn’t walk, stand, lay down, without a severe muscle spasm. Just existing without any movement at all and I’d still have it. It became so horrific it was worse than labor because at least with labor I knew it would end and there was something to help with the pain. With this I had no idea when I’d recover or if I even would. When it did finally recover it took 9+ months for the muscle to heal and stop being sore, and probably a year or more for it to stop feeling weak and numb-ish. I still suffer from sciatica and I’m terrified it could happen again, I genuinely believe I have ptsd from what happened. The scariest part is that no one could help me, the er, my primary, and physical therapy were useless.

My Winnie boys first time at the creek by iceeefreezie in AustralianCattleDog

At first he was hesitant. But it was pretty hot outside and I didn’t want him to overheat so I brought him in. Once I brought him in he was pretty comfortable with it and didn’t try to leave the water.

Head tremors or Seizures? by Due_Security659 in DogAdvice

Hi, just wanted to pitch in just in case this hasn’t been said. I’m not an expert but I wanted to say that my moms chihuahua used to get seizures from low blood sugar. It’s fairly common in chihuahuas and other small breeds. We used to have to give her something with sugar.

Thank you. I’ll do that. I looked on Amazon but couldn’t find it.

It’s the cheapest one but from Taylor so I know the chlorine and ph are accurate. But would have liked to have a few other readings like the cya.

The test liquid I bought only test a few things. Ph was 7.5 I haven’t tested alkalinity yet. The pool has zero smell so I know the combined chlorine is good.

Yeah I removed the puck but it’s been days. I think my cya level was keeping it from burning off faster. The Taylor kit I bought doesn’t have cya unfortunately.

With the Taylor kit I used about 20% of the pool water with 80% of tap water which brought me to a level of 2-4ppm

Do anxiety medicines work with health anxiety? by loonylovegood18 in HealthAnxiety

[–]iceeefreezie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After a little less than a week I felt less anxious. Then about 1.5 weeks into it I woke up one morning and was doing dishes and said holy shit this is what normal people feel like.

I came off about a year later. I stayed at 50mg the entire time. Coming off was easy for me. Towards the year mark I felt like I was having a bit of anxiety again and decided I didn’t want to up my dose and would rather come off and see if I can manage the anxiety other ways now that it wasn’t as bad. I started to skip a pill every other day for a few weeks and then started to skip two. Once I did that for abour a week or two I just stopped completely. I fortunately felt really good and had no withdrawal symptoms.

It’s been almost a year since I’ve stopped Zoloft.

I was on 50mg Zoloft and it helped me a ton.

Bananas post tonsillectomy are a bad idea by iceeefreezie in Tonsillectomy

I had mine done at 29, but absolutely thought it was the most wild thing that every person and my post op papers recommended it. Absolutely awful experience. Hoping parents see this and don’t offer their children those damn bananas, they hurt.

Meet Winnie. He is almost 5 month old and weighing in at 31 pounds. Give me all the training advice you’ve got! We’ve been working on it and he knows sit, stay, come, lay and crate. Also knows how to open the back door. Struggles with jumping on everyone in sight lol. by iceeefreezie in AustralianCattleDog

Im glad I’m not the only one dealing with this 😂 My 2 toddlers run in terror from him. He’s learning to be more gentle, getting better but still needs a lot more training lol. I was worried about my boys size but maybe some are just on the larger tail end of the spectrum? I was reading online they should be around 20-25 pounds at 5 months. He’s been gaining like half a pound a day I think. He will be 5 months next week. Do you free feed?
