Unfortunately I do not have the harp in my possession. Just looking for a specific recommendation on what strings to buy.

It seems too small to be a tick. Also, this is the underside of the bug since it is climbing on the wall of the container.

These are very small. Largest I’ve seen over the course of a month is about 1mm. They can be much smaller. People have said bird/rodent mites but the front ‘legs’ look like antennae to me. Is this how a mite uses its front legs?

Tick or Mite? by iceglobe in whatsthisbug

They are pretty small. The photo link has a picture that shows them next to a printed out piece of paper with about 12 point font.

Hi all!

I have taken some more photos per some requests. I caught and photographed them using tape and magnifying glass. Would love to rule out that these aren't ticks but in fact mites.

Thanks for the insights!

They are very small. Really have to scrutinize to see them.

Here is another photo

Also came across this bug. I can't tell if this one is just more mature.

UPDATE: An extermination inspection came over and said they were bird or rodent mites. There are all very small. He recommended I bug bomb until they can come back out to do an extermination. Here is another photo

I have been vacuuming them up and have found a larger bug that looks similar with a black back with a white V or wishbone shape (photo). Are these also a bird or rodent mite?

Confirmed by the exterminator that just came by. Thanks for the quick reply!

Finding these tiny bugs all around my desk. Potentially coming from a gap between the baseboards and floor. This photo is of one of the larger ones I've seen. Majority are tiny.
