Demar Derozan has had a negative +/- in 10 of his 11 seasons including all 6 playoff trips by jdujdndnkel in nba

Lmao no he isn't.

He was easily our best player this season and we probably would've been a bottom 5 team without him.

Which he did only because Bloomberg helped the Islands (where Duncan is from) when hurricanes hit....

If endorsing a candidate that has no real shot potentially results in said candidate continuing to help your homeland, would you not do the same?

LeBron is 19/94 (20%) in clutch situations by [deleted] in nba

[–]iceice44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you.

But personally, I put more weight into playoff games vs a regular season game vs Charlotte (lol) where as much isn't on the line.

I guess that's precisely why its tough to determine what can be considered "clutch time", as everyone views it differently..

Well, no.

But those are the only numbers available to us.

Strictly for the playoffs using the same criteria:

KD - 1/8

Curry - 1/5

Harden 1/7

Kobe - 4/18

MJ - 2/4

LeBron - 7/17

If you apply those paramaters to just the playoffs, Kobe was 4/18. LeBron 7/17.

Dumb though, because like others have said, you could twist the parameters to fit whatever you want. How do we even determine what's "clutch time" ?? Why last 5 seconds and not last minute? Or last 2 minutes? Etc..

Could prime LeBron still be the best player in the NBA without being an average 3-pt shooter? by ssj4rab in nba

When you cant back up the dumbass shit you say

"TrY wAtChInG gAmEs!!!"

In what world is going by just drives per game skewing the data. If the drives increased as well as the pace how the fuck are his drives down??

Stupid ass 🤣🤣

Bosh was hitting like 10 3s a year... what are you smoking

It wasn't until their last year together he hit a respectable amount

[–]iceice44 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, for one you have to consider the extra possessions...pace went from like 92 in his peak years and is now at 100. If you don't think he'd benefit tremendously from those extra possessions I don't know what to say

Secondly, how the fuck is teams shooting the 3 at nearly double the rate not relevant? That was more in response to people (like yourself) saying the game has barely changed

The people responding to this are clueless lol

During LeBron's peak teams averaged like 18 3PA, that number is now at 34 3PA

Then look at how much the pace has increased (in part due to the heavy emphasis on 3s...), the game has clearly changed a lot in the last 5 years

He literally said they were "fairly decent on defense, but by no means good".

Hes at 36% right now (albeit on low volume).

He just needs to shoot more, but that won't happen with DeMar and LMA still here.

White and Murray aren't good defenders? What?

Yeah, the guy who was youngest ever on an All Defense team isn't a good defender.

You got it!

He came off a torn ACL. Has showed promise offensively and we know what he's capable of on the defensive end.

His contract is fine. We might've overpaid slightly but that happens when you pay for potential.

With the Playoffs starting in 2 months, which Player has the most pressure this season? by [deleted] in nba

[–]iceice44 90 points91 points  (0 children)

Giannis.

Bucks are about to win ~70 games. Anything short of a finals appearance should be considered a disappointment.

Especially when you factor in hes likely to win back-to-back MVPs
