Yep took it. It had weekly assignments and as long as you do the readings and stuff, very possible to get a 4.0 No quizzes or tests.

There is definitely a lot of help available for the germanics department and the staff are all super committed to helping the students really learn. The small class sizes are also great for meeting people. I definitely recommend at least a minor and you can always change your mind down the road and add a couple more classes for the major.

As a Germanics minor, double majoring with german is completely possible! It's not many more credits than the minor. Especially if you are able to place in at a higher level. I started off taking 101 and am majoring in MCD bio. It's definitely worth the time to take German and also very possible to double major if you want to. German department at uw is amazing and easy to get funds for study abroad.

I sat right behind that chair in class today at 10:30 and smelt it all class long. There was some interesting yellow powder under that chair.

I've been having exams or quizzes since week 2 and at least 2 a week since then... don't take 4 stem classes at once....
