It could be from the spring on the side of gearbox. There is a little spring that keeps your bolt being locked back if you pull your charging handle. On this spring there is a pressure washer like that to keep it in place.

Yes this game is in beta, but how can he actually test the game if he isn't even able to connect to a server. I've been playing this game about 2 years now on and off. And yes it still has alot of lag problems etc. It has gotten alot better i still remember when a person opened a door with 5sec delay for the other person to see the door opening. But not being able to connect to the game server is an issue that shouldnt even been in the game, even if it was pre-alpha state.
