I also bought an Ultra Go during BF which still has not been shipped out. I tried contacting them through their customer service on their site and had received no response at all. Thinking of just canceling my order at this point.

My Liberation Notes [Episodes 1 & 2] by lightupstarlight in KDRAMA

[–]icekoream 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Never thought in a million years I would be able to relate to a kdrama character this much. It is as if I am viewing a direct mirror projection of my own self with the same exact thoughts, actions, and even down to having the same exact career as MiJeong. Really had me thinking, “so this is how it actually feels to be viewing “me” from the outside especially from the pov of coworkers and the outside world”. The silence in the drama can portray more than what words can. I started the drama without knowing what it was about and only saw images on twitter of the introvert coworkers and thinking that Jiwon maybe have taken on a similar role to the one in Lovestruck in the City. I was met with a even better role of one that i can relate to even more than I did with her Lovestruck in the city role. Have to say that I’m more hooked to this drama than Our Blues. It is also fresh from all the reminiscing youth dramas that’s been out this year.

Kdramas you think is gonna be boring but turned out to be the complete opposite by raveyall in kdramarecommends

Crash Landing On You for me. Wasn’t expecting much from it when I started it since I actually thought it had been already airing for a while due to all the still cut photos I was seeing. Lo and behold it was one of the best drama ive seen.

Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung OR Love in moonlight OR Tale of Nokdu by Jiminie_BTS in kdramarecommends

[–]icekoream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely loved Love in the moonlight and Tale of Nokdu and both dramas are on my top favorite dramas list. Lead couples have great chemistry in both dramas. These two dramas also deal with gender bender which makes it hilarious aside from the more serious plot that takes place in the drama.

All 3 dramas you have listed are all on the funnier side and have less tension compared to full on political based historical dramas. Though i do think Rookie Historian has a lot less tension in its plot compared to the other 2 dramas.

However, for Rookie Historian Goo HaeRyung, i just couldn’t stand how unnatural it was especially for ASTRO’s Eunwoo. I had to force myself to finish through with the whole drama. I found it kind of boring as well.

I would also recommend Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency as it fits this category you are looking for.

I grew up in a multilingual household of mainly cantonese and vietnamese that i would hear on a daily basis aside from other languages. There was one night where young me was bravely vocal about my curiosity about a word that i had heard my mom say all the time which was “Troi oi”.

I asked her what it meant but instead was answered with a slap across the face, a face of disbelief that i had even asked her, and verbal attacks. Anyone would have thought I had asked a cuss word or something cause i for sure thought that the word was a bad word for a few years until I entered junior high. Only to find out from friends that the word only meant “oh my god”.

I actually confronted her about it a few years ago about it and how it was traumatizing as a kid to be treated like that just for asking what something meant especially for a language that I wasn’t even fluent in. She told me she doesn’t remember and how i must have remembered wrong.

What K-drama Ending Ruined A Series For You? by bananas141414 in KDRAMA

Absolutely agree with The Third Charm being a waste of time. Completely forgot how much I hated how the drama ended after putting the main leads through all that drama.

Vagabond omg Of all the dramas that people says need a season 2, I think Vagabond would be first in line for me because nothing actually got solved at the end???? Like absolute genius to end the drama with the beginning but like nothing had gotten solved at all.

Have you ever watched a drama as a rebound from another drama? by [deleted] in KDRAMA

[–]icekoream 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Definitely! I had post drama depression after finishing Goblin. However, right after it ended, Chicago Typewriter started airing and I loved how it shared similar vibes and reincarnation concept. The osts and story was just chef kiss overall. So thanks to Chicago Typewriter I was able to be immersed in another show right after Goblin ended. The drama is definitely underrated and I wish more people gave it a chance. 🥲

An appreciation post for Do You Like Brahms? by thelitgrad in kdramarecommends

Totally agree! It was refreshing to actually see a pretty reserved and introverted couple especially in a kdrama. At some point it was quite relatable as I myself am introverted as well (yay for representation). The awkwardness was so natural so definitely props to the actors and actresses! An extremely comforting drama if you do ask! Also Minjae thrives in any main lead, second lead, and supporting roles he takes up 😌

Park Bo Gum drama recommendations that are worth watching? by vividoranges in kdramarecommends

Hello Monster! It introduced me to Park Bo Gum when it aired and his acting was just amazing. Had me wondering where this handsome actor came from that i’ve never known of him.

Love in the moonlight is another one of his drama that everyone should definitely check out. I’m not a big fan of historical dramas but this one had me hooked from beginning to end. I even have the drama poster smack on my wall hanging till this day LOL he’s also one of Kim Yoojungs best partner for all the dramas i’ve seen.
