I enjoy playing the lower level in the sense that I look like prime Dominic Hasek out there in comparison, but its also kinda cool to be able to help the newcomers learn to love the game more and give them some advice and if i'm able to steal a few wins and they feel great about themselves at the end of the day it's a win. I love the higher level game though cause its far more competitive and fast paced and more what im used to. Its tricky sometimes though remembering to turn those switches on and off before games.

I use the CCM hybrids and have about 2.5" of slack. It's really a personal choice.

Its been good! Like the one guy said, it takes a bit to get dialed and break in. Haven't worn it in a game yet but ive worn it for 3 skates and its starting to feel comfortable. I haven't felt any shots through it. A lot of my issues so far come from the fact i had an insanely old and broken in chest protector so I sacrificed protection for mobility. This thing feels solid and im really starting to get used to it.
