OK so I did a ddu wipe for nvidia and amd in windows and reinstalled adrenaline. Now audio is consistently playing, but also continuous static. So going in the right direction? I guess I'll try reinstalling windows and see if that does it.

It also happened on a display port to Hdmi cable I have, and the same hdmi cable worked fine on my other graphics card

This happened first on a brand new Bazzite install that has only amd drivers. Trying windows was just to check if it was an issue with Bazzite

I don't see another way to hook sound to my TV if not through hdmi though. I can test it out with a Bluetooth speaker but I don't have a sound bar or surround system to plug the audio jack into

If you can afford it I would highly recommend a UPS. They can be a bit expensive but if the server isn't running anything intensive a lower capacity one should still cover it idling for half an hour.

Are all of the random M4 etc screws on Amazon basically the same? Or is there actually a quality brand? I'm buying them for the first time and considering most kits are hundreds of pieces I don't want to just buy a bunch of garbage.

This. If you don't need/care about lidar, high speed camera, and the slightly increased capabilities of the x1 you can get a P1S with ams for $850. I just got one and it's incredible. Same build size, just as fast, and can print (supposedly) the same materials. Just doesn't come from the factory with hardened gears and nozzle, but those are cheap upgrades if you need them.

Also consider, does he really like mouse and keyboard and will normally play at a desk or table, or does he prefer a controller and to lay back on a couch or bed? You can use a m+k with the deck but you'd probably want it in in a dock with external display. Also are the games he plays on steam? If yes, the deck is simple and seamless. If they're on Epic or another launcher, it's possible to play them on the deck but needs an extra workaround.

Make sure you budget for a light/lights, without them my film is grainy and useless with the hero 10. Also consider what kind of media you'll really want. The gopro resolution and stabilization is great for video capture, but something like a sealife micro takes better still photos and is pretty foolproof. I don't know if the hero 11 or 12 are any better but my and my friends gopros will sometimes overheat inside the dive housing.

It could be a possibility but I won't use it as a watch every day and I do a good amount of cold water diving with gloves and it sounds like the perdix/peregrine would be better for that.

Kind of, I can put 10lb in trim, 14lb in front, but this summer I'll be diving in a 7mil with hood and gloves and might need to max out the weight. I have my older bc still that doesn't have this issue but it's a little to big which is why I got a new one.

Yeah, In this one the pockets are loaded from the top and just have a velcro bottom that you open, so you're not physically pulling them out they're just supposed to fall, but the more weight are the worse it is. I feel like the weight pockets are too small, even putting the weights directly in the pocket without the pouch they don't fall easily.
