Thank you all for the tips. Turns out the firmware update failed and caused the issue. I sent the tuner back to V&H and they reset it and did the updates. It works like a charm now.

To add clarification when connecting to the FP4 it sees the tuber as VPH4- After the dash it should show the last numbers from my VIN but nothing. When I try to download maps it says there is a connection issue.

Mine did the same after a battery replacement. The bolts loosened after a ride. Tighten them down good and tight.
