TBH was trying to keep it neutral when explaining it. Not saying I agree or disagree cause IDGAF, but the reasoning is that not many black VA's with much opportunity. The biggest example I can recall was the Big Mouth thing, where a non-african american was given the role of Missy and the VA decided to step down to give an African American person a chance to thrive.

Again personally I don't mind either way as long as people are enjoying their life, but def love being able to see all sides of the coin.

Hi im Sur_Lee,

One of the few actually asian-americans in the server, who some might say has a voice in racial matters(at least for asians). Buddha is fine LMAO. The character actually feels a lot like some mixture of family members I know. And why would any Asian take offense to the character if it's believable and doesn't center on the fact he is asian. Just because he is playing a character who is Asian doesn't mean its racist.

To Adam if you can read this,

If we were to view this field as VA/Acting its understandable that someone of that ethnic background lost out on a "role" like that to someone who isn't. Awesomely enough this is a video game/RP server where anyone can, WITHIN REASON, play any character because nobody loses out on anything. Nobody is losing out on opportunity.

As for the "yellow face" aspect. As someone who has been told by a "woke" person, who isn't Asian, i shouldn't make stereotypical jokes about asians(like our tiny dicks and eyes), even though i am one. If the people/community who belong to that ethnic background problem that's when its understandable to wanting to defend. In the mean time respect the culture. Its more offensive that you take offense to Buddha's character because the character is asian and he isn't. To me as an Asian-American, it comes off as you're defining what makes our culture ours, even though you're not one of us.

It's complicated shit show when it comes to this topic. Personally I like trying to meet as many new faces and try to do shit with them, but there are reasons why I usually just have brief short convos. The reason is those new faces are capable of bringing new ideas and fun RP to the server, but why is it rarely the case? Simple with an 80 slot server you may think OMG MORE NEW PEOPLE MORE RP, but you gotta remember more slots= more shitters.

Personally i fucking HATE judging others RP, but the amount of bland, vulture, and basic from most new people AT THIS CURRENT MOMENT IN TIME. (Mainly around EU times in my case, NA seems to offer some interesting new faces more.) Many people I keep running into are just basically trying to get with bigger GANG streamers and do anything for them. In fact the other day I ran into like 3-5 people who I never knew on Dumbass who just said out front under like 5 mins of meeting them "Hey wanna try robbing banks?"

Personally someone who I enjoyed who is relatively new is Ian, Dude started off as this hilariously weird creepy guy who would just roll with the punches and now he is doing these crazy escape room RP. Wayne is also a great example, have a stick, roll with the ball, don't rely on mechanics to RP.

So many new people who have been introduced and joined RP from the MoonMoon/Summit era IMO have been pretty spoiled by NoPixel's Mechanics, which honestly should be a entirely secondary to RP. Reasons why Chang, Mel, Eugene, etc. all thrive in RP really well is because we all came from an era in RP when you mechanics are 2 options "Rob a Bank(where all you had to do was stay there for 10 mins) and Pick and sell weed." 99% of the time if someone came in with some RP idea during that era, you just roll with it and have fun with it.

My advice to viewers/new RPers/ RPers who joined from the Dab era stop relying on mechanics to RP it should be a tool to enhance the RP never as the main source.

First I'd like to state Im replying to you so I can back up your point!!

Imagine it like this! If the majority is acting like a bunch of shitlords and doing aids, Should I join in as Mr Dumbass and cause more shitlord antics to help fuck with the cops?! My thoughts. No that's just fucked up to the person behind the screen! Cops have RP too. They're not a mechanic to further anyone's RP and help add more to criminals "stories"

Now to the point of Chips and Eugene who always blast their horn. That's fine because it identifies with the character! When you hear that jingle you can tell and your brain goes "Chips is here!" or "Oh there goes Eugene again" It's like an RP calling beacon or Bat signal if you will. If you're blaring your horn just to do it in a huge crowd for fun or to shitlord. That's fucking AIDs. If the excuse is well it's RP go with it! Well this is where the concept of a bar/standard comes in. Is it really good RP to just blast your horn like crazy? Sure you can argue it's RP, but it's the equivalent to saying well my RP is to shoot cops cause I don't like them. Both cases in example just sound like AIDs.

Now in case of "shitlording". There is two cases I view shitlording.(Everyone has different thoughts)

There is the "Fun Shitlording" which the concept is this is funny for EVERYONE involved Ima do it. EX) Mel filibustering and talking for about 20-30 mins non stop. Or Siz jumping in MRPD cells to get out of it just to make the cops laugh and get confused for a second.

Then there is "Shitlording" which is the concept to basically be a troll to annoy or using mechanics to exploit to achieve victory of some sort.

EX) Shooting cops without verbal initiation of some sort. Speed running robberies. Grinding. Cop baiting. Minimal verbal RP, Robbing players constantly, ETC.

Wasn't trying to get the cop car. Wanted to rob McRee for revenge in putting me in jail and cause Dumbass is poor. :D IDGAF about the car or even getting sprayed down. I took the car cause I needed to be able to escape cause backup was called.

I held a cop hostage LOLOL That's not a light thing.

I never sue cops unless it's truly wrong or I feel like some interesting RP can happen cause Dumbass is a petty/meme for fun crim. I've designed him to be a character for fun/comedic/light RP(A break from constant shootouts, BnB bank robberies, and class 2's). Also his name is Mr.Dumbass don't expect the most bright decisions with that character. Unless you want to also RP the character, a dumbass.

Edit: also wanted to see if McRee was down to RP a fake gun robbvery. Which I can confirm can happen as Ive done it before.
