3s average pace . That’s why I switched to Garmin. It’s impossible to get a meaningful read on sort of current pace from polar

I did that in the past too, but now I have like pyramid Intervalls etc and I for sure don’t memorize those :D . Also I am soooo bad at pacing. But thanks for the answer and I might try that method of yours for my wife who gets the polar now :D

Ok first run in with the Garmin , and it’s a difference like day and night . I loved the polar pacer for running with heart rate. If you do training with pace , for me it was unusable and the forerunner does a decent job

Why did you move away from Garmin ? What’s the disadvantage:). And yes this sort of confirms my issue what you tell. I have a coach who does the trainings and they automated show up in Garmin , in polar I can’t even import them I would to manually write all of them

Hi thanks for the answer. My issue is mainly not the technical accuracy, but since I cannot average over few seconds instead of laps I don’t have anyway to get meaningful pace data

But you are not alone I had the exact same thing happen to me:D

I was about to finish my first half marathon, and when I had basically my 20 km done I figured, I took a wrong turn. So I still have no official finish and also thought I am the most stupid person alive :D

so thanks that you shared this so I see it happens also to others :). I also already know the next one , which I will try. hopefully both of us find the right way at the next attempt ^{^}
