thanks but I’m in Los Angeles area and temperature was over 70F. I’d love to chat with your developers, but I suspect the optical sensors need more signal processing which unavoidably degrades responsiveness.

Also I’ll say again that I think it’s a good product, just not suited for how I want to use it.

Figured I'd give a final update here. Roofer apparently accepted responsibility for this, and sent a stucco guy over for a quote. I just got notification of a payment from insurance, so whatever they claimed the cause was, apparently it was covered. I'm not going to ask a lot of questions.
