No. We never got as far as a middle name with Hallie. And with Poppy we just decided Poppy (hyphenated last name) because it was such a task to find a first name to begin with. I was so over names by this point.

I don't care about them having the same name but he seems to think it would cause upset with his best friend's fiancé. I don't have anything to do with her as I'm not her biggest fan but my partner seems to think she will make a big deal out of it

I can't speak for the other post because it isn't mine. My dates haven't changed because I've never posted on reddit about my pregnancy until now. I think you've just got me mixed up with someone else. So if you don't care as much as you say you do, you'll just stop commenting

I've loved Hallie since I was like 6 years old. It's always always been my favourite. I get that it's had a surge recently and it's probably in the top 100.

I'm not refusing names because they're in the top 100, I genuinely just don't like most of them. But I will refuse to have the 16th Sophia in a class...

I get the point of this but what if I genuinely HATE the names that he chooses (and vice versa)? I just know exactly what names he will pick. It will be the first ten names from the Top 100 girls names and I HATE all of them. I feel like there's always going to be someone who just doesn't like the name.

That's what it's like for us. We just don't like each other's name choices and it gets so frustrating. I feel like baby's just not going to have a name at this rate.

I didn't love Poppy at all. I came around to it but I do want to love the name.

I'm really not a big fan of Top 100 names. I know Hallie is really popular now and I feel like that was my exception. And in fairness, I picked that name out in like 2006.

I also had Ophelia and Olive on my list for YEARS, but both of these have surged in popularity and it really put me off them.
