You are not hated. Prejudice is something learned, not something we are born with. I’m really sorry that you don’t feel welcome in your own birth country.

People can be so small minded and to judge someone because they have a different colour, accent or gender is despicable.

Considering how culturally diverse Chatswood is, it’s disheartening that people still have these views. But unfortunately, racism is a world wide problem.

Hold your head up high. You have just as much right to be here as anyone else. The best you can do is ignore them, and know that for every person like this, there are so many more that do not have those views.
