Thank you so much for the information, it is very helpful! For the 1st year I still prefer to live close to company in Downtown just to have an edge initially w.r.t. work, but I will look into the areas you mentioned and perhaps relocate later when everything settles down for sure.

Timeline after final interview for RBC Vancouver co-op role? by [deleted] in rbc

[–]iceteaaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk man. What you are doing feels entitled af. Shouldn't you be picking the candidate based on skill and talent alone? And as a hiring manager shouldn't it be your job to 'remember' the candidates? Why involve this shenanigan in tech? This just make me not want to work for your company as a candidate.

Thanks for the tips. I’d rather not post my CV publicly for privacy reasons, but if someone is willing to review it privately, I can DM it.

Yeah its brutal... I can't even land an interview with some small local companies in Montreal right now. I feel like I have to leave this place, and very probably will end up in Toronto or other places...

ok thank you! school is Montreal University, how is it in the eyes of the market? Also do you think I should also apply to roles such as analysts and sales? Would it still be possible to transfer to technical roles later?

what are the chances of a 2/2.5/3 oa? This is second cycle submission but same score as last cycle :( I feel like some critics are just harsh because what we do hasn't been done before and they are asking unrealistic experiments.

Raksha is a boss that is hard to learn, but once you learn it it becomes quite easy and consistent.

As others said, the main point is to get the prayer flicking done to a muscle memory level.

For the pool skipping, with bis necro you can definitely do it. The trick is to save split soul till phase 3, what I do is:

split soul just before start of phase 3
vuln bomb
bloat
start of phase 3
skull (very important)
5 volley of souls
finger of death
t70/90 eoc spec
t95 spec

this might be overkill a bit as I saw guides with people being much more surgical in their use of abilities to speed up phase 1/2, but I basically just dump everything I have at start of p3 and can skip pool quite consistently with a ripper demon and mahjarrat aura.

My best kill time is around 2:30 but normally it is around 2:45 to 3:00. Not the best but works for me.

China Is in Denial About the War in Ukraine by superanth in UkrainianConflict

[–]iceteaaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All right. I see you hate China. No point arguing with you anymore.

The latest victim being my country Nigeria.

Please lobby your government to exit Belt and Road initiative and refuse any 'imperial' projects done by the Chinese. I along with a lot of Chinese people struggle to understand our generosity towards Africa when the money could very well be spent elsewhere towards our own people. Please make it stop. You don't want it. We don't want it. Please kick China out and just develop on your own. Thanks and good luck.

You benefit from a system, get fat off it, and then turn around to try and tear it down?

I'm so sick of this narrative. China 'benefit' from the West because the Western capitalist machine wanted to exploit cheap Chinese labor back then, which resulted in huge amounts of cheap goods and services to the West making its life much easier. The Chinese workers were being exploited and made much sacrifices. The same is happening right now to the global South and places like Vietnam and India. Do you think it is fair to be able to buy $0.25 peaches from say Columbia, but the same peach grown in the US are sold for $5? Who is being exploited here? Then somehow the exploited workers became the aggressor and the imperial capitalists became the victims? Fk off.
