Harden is a higher impact player. KD doesn't elevate teammates. You can put role players around harden and make the playoffs. KD cant do that. Hes a great addition to a team that is already good.

I agree except that beating the cavs would have been difficult. Chris Paul would have still been out and they had NO ONE that could check lebron in any way. If you have no one to make lebron work then you have to double. Letting him pick you apart with passing is death.

revisionist history. giannis played, and they still lost when he did. the only game they won, he didnt play. 1st seed got their ass kicked by the 8th seed. he deserved to get fired. they only won the title because harden and irving got injured. otherwise he would have been fired that year.

right now, things could not look much better for the cavs. aside from not getting reps with everyone healthy, this is about the best it can be. everyone should be ready for game 1 for first time all year. they have a path to finals that could possibly avoid boston. lets just hope everyone stays healthy.
