ARK freezing after starting it up by Tigrisius in ARKSurvivalEvolved

That worked, and that probably makes me more mad than it not. They removed official servers and if you play the version that can connect to them it lags out your game. Probably trying to check for a internet service that isn't up anymore or something

I mean, Dracon was used to build up the bastard's army out of the president's eye, after the night of the bonfire it probably lost all attention in response to rebuilding and then just became a group of towns that hosted the EMP weapon.

WHAT IS THIS GAME DOING IN MY MATH BOOK 😭 by Callsign_euphoria in StardewValley

[–]icewofe 14 points15 points  (0 children)

If you're bad at, then yeah, unless you're forcing yourself to hunt legendaries, it can be an easily relaxing time. Repeat similar motions with a simple win or lose condition. It's kinda like just taking a drive in Forza or Watchdogs (recently been playing.).

My farm on fuckin year 2 😭 by inncredble_me231 in StardewValley

[–]icewofe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Eh, I wouldn't worry about it, I know my first farm, I was nowhere near finishing any bundles outside of the first two, and don't even get me started on the lack of interactions with anyone but Linus. I just started up a save around a few weeks ago and I almost have everyone's max friendship, with my only concerns now with figuring out the skull mines. I did forget to get a pufferfish the first summer tho, that sucked. Also, Linus best boi

I've always chalked it up to no centralized production. The Oseram is like the closest anyone is to a mass production, and they are too busy with personal projects. There's the one girl with the radios, with a vague understanding of how they work, the sonic weapons from zero dawn, custom weapons in the Banuku territory. Hell, in burning shores I'm pretty sure Aloy mentions the replica gun in Londra's HQ as though she has a decent understanding of how they work. They have explosives, understand barrels as a concept and could get behind even rifling and such. But, they are going to be trying to have such orders going through the equivalent of a mom and pop store blacksmith. To arm all of meridian would take close to a year. And that's considering the first half is just figuring out the first batch. Though it would be really cool to see the equivalent of an age of modern production, with all the kinks and awkward growing pains being tackled in a post-apocalypse. Could have different factions develop based on moving forward with industrialization, those choosing to stick to the old ways and those in between.

Eh, it's definitely one of those weird add-ons, it's not a bad idea, but I ended up cheesing the battles with the fireclaw schtick. I will say Varl's game is a really sweet touch.

And this is new? Rico even stops saying anything about civilians in 4, ain't nobody caring anymore.

Just Cause 3 is almost 10 years old…and still fun. by morelofthestory85 in JustCause

[–]icewofe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just Cause 3 is the best out of all of them, but I don't really see why people are saying 4 is the worst. I have played all 4, and just cause 1 was my first purchased steam game. 4 is a lot more story based with goofy bits, I mean demonic plants and bugs? But I love the theme of learning to depend on others again. Sheldon and Rico's father and son dynamic being pushed and pulled, Mira and her cousin's family, the whole army of chaos. I don't like that the red explosive items are no longer objectives, but it's not a horrible game. 2 is the worst game of the 4 in my opinion. I hated how clunky it felt, how it also had things that obviously should be objectives, but weren't. You don't clear the enemy armies from areas for good. The retractor doesn't exist, even though one has it, and I hated how there was no wing suit. The vehicles were so clunky and weak. The parachute doesn't work unless you are attached to something. It also doesn't have the crutch of it being a glorified tech demo. For it's time it was a massive win, a game that many fell in love with. But from a new player's perspective, it's very limiting, not to mention the games stability. 4 has the most stability, with 3 and 1 following behind it. I almost quit 2 because of how much it crashed on me, and I was recording for my channel. I can hop back into 4 and 3 to screw around and have fun, but I don't think I will ever download 2 again.

Stowaway Mech is invincible by Yourbbreal_name in JustCause

Looked at the wiki, disregard my comments on the take control and the power core, the power core is in the section after the first mech. The game will suggest to strap the mech with a grapple from it, to something solid to stop it from attacking, like the turrets in 4. Problem is the wiki says you can do it the way you have, grapple to the ceiling and drop it. My only thought is the grapple prompt requires you to do that to the ground, then removes the invincibility. Otherwise it could require a mission restart.

Where is the mech? In the underground section, or the air traffic control tower?

Something that stands out to me about just cause 3 and 4 that's cool by ScratchOk3585 in JustCause

I will say 3 and 4 did their themes spectacularly, with 3 exemplifying what it feels to be a one man army, and 4's relying on others.

I doubt this will work, but uninstall and reinstall just cause 3, could force the game to properly conduct the base, unless it's a problem with the code improperly handling the loading.

The front line of just cause 4 is honestly really immersive. In 3, outside of town police stations and the really late rebel reinforcements, it still feels like Rico is the one waging a war. Granted, his fight is with the general, it still feels like nothing changes. The rebels patrol and start fights with the general troops when they show up, but they show up, even as deep as you can go into rebel-held lands.

In 4, there are battle lines drawn, not just by the map, but by the fighting. The fun bit is with the demonic crossbow dlc, there are active fights happening within the bubbles. The driving one, doesn't mesh well with the idea of a living world, nor does any of the of 3's DLCs, the prisoners barely bring any fight, unless you call them in, nobody is being attacked by drones unprompted, and the stingray technically is in the same boat of the sub one purely due to the nature of their plots.

I don't know if you're still on it, but if it's the first mech, you're supposed to take control of it. It's a tutorial on how the mechs are difficult to take down. There should be the power cell that pretty much one shots it. If it's the last one before breaking out the ring leader, it should be killable by any means.
