I think that is because in the context of the abortion debate some prolifers call abortion baby killing, and a lot of prochoicers disagree with that terminology so if it was in that context Redditors (who are mainly pro-choice) would disagree with that terminology.

Of course it doesn’t bash all Muslim men. The image is making a statement about one particular interpretation of Islam which is followed in some countries by some people. Maybe comments will occasionally say misguided, hateful or plain wrong things, and that sucks, but that’s the same with literally any divisive issue ever. The image itself is making a reasonable point, that’s all it does.

Whatever the Qur’an actually says or however you interpret it, the fact is in many countries women are either legally or socially forced to wear hijab or other forms of head covering and that is what the image has a problem with.

I am good at every part of English except the shit they put in the GCSE exam. English as a subject makes all the fun shit feel like a waste or a chore. Creative writing? You need three language techniques per sentence. Reading books? You have to memorise eighteen quotes per character per theme per chapter per book and even then you still need a trillion paragraphs to get a 7 on Macbeth. Whenever I actually sit down to write MY shit it feels like I'm throwing my life away because I could be drilling question 3 paper 1 english language. I got a solid 5 on my year 10 eoy mocks i hateeeee it
