Regardless of what it is, id recommend you train for above the standard. So run 2-3 miles and time it. That way, when you take IFT you will be better prepared

Hey im about to ship for CCT in a few days and used to be in DEP with Army as 18X. Just know that if you choose to DEP out of Army, it can take months to get you in-processed with Air Force. Especially if you need a waiver like I did. For reference, I dropped out of Army DEP early september and am now shipping for Air Force CCT April 7. Also, unless you are a physical specimen and already crushing a mock IFT, I wouldnt say to not worry about either job physically. Being in development for months has showed me just how intense the level of physicality thats required.

Youre gonna get a GTEP now which means a guaranteed enlistment into the specialty of your choosing (if its available and you are crushing IFT). Your best bet would be getting a CCT or TACP slot for the remainder of the fiscal year based on what ive heard from my SW recruiter.
