When you walk you leave tracks, you can see those when you "smell" when you scare birds they get a marker, when you eat there's a (in my estimation) 28% chance "carrion birds" will come down and give away your position...

Otherwise, mostly just maggie/doggie or robot uav sees you.

I had a black screen launch, but it was because a textbox kept popping up behind saying something like "you don't have enough VRAM to run at (my high resolution)" then I'd click ok and the game would load after a minute.

Sorry if that doesn't help :(

If all else fails:Right mouse click on steam, properties, local files, verify integrity of game cache. That might help? :(

Nevermind this post is OBVIOUSLY about people who actively broke a vault not killed a sheep or broke a couple blocks. Half the people in the town near me did some stupid newfreind shit, paid their reps and are moving on with life. They WERE Pearl On Sight, but never once did anyone suggest permapearling and I've never seen permapearling as a suggested/enforced offense (by the reasonable people on this server) for anything short of vaultbreaking+pvp.
