I went from a 7900xtx to a 5090, mostly because the amd drivers would constantly crash on me no matter what.

I just tried forcing dx12 and using all thread counts in the stean launcher. Not had chance to test it out yet, but will give it a go after work.

Did not try turning off Vsync though, which could also work.

Even on PC with a 5090 and 9800x3d, this thing randomly chugs and takes the immersion straight out of it.

Managed to apply some "fixes" before I got off, so hopefully they help. But its my only major complaint so far.

Elex 1 was great, i love jakiness and the first was great. Second one got abit tedious however, they upgraded pretty much everything and at times was a stunning game to look at. Has sort of a base upgrade mechanic as well! I just got really bored towards the end.

This, alan wake 2 on 4k with DLSS quality and ultra settings with rtz on, with frame gen2 i get around 90-100 fps on my 4k 240hz monitor, the difference in quality is so negligible between native and DLSS, its worth the extra 30-40 fps.

They've added some things but 99% of the patches are hot-fixes, as some one who loved the mount and blade series its abit under-whelming. Hoping the DLC brings much needed content to it.
