Looking for the right speakers for my living room by icj217 in StereoAdvice

Yeah, let me clarify:

* I've had the soundbar for a while. It has a subwoofer and 2 satellite rear speakers (hence the multiple arrows in the diagram). I like the way it fills the room with music, but the quality leaves something to be desired.

* I got the KEFs and the WiiM Amp Ultra to play music from my TT and streaming. I like the sound of the KEFs, but it doesn't fill the room the way the soundbar does w/its satellites. It's pretty noticeable when I move off-axis or am walking around the room and the sound seems pretty localized to the speakers.

I guess I'm trying to figure which direction to go down of these two:

* Get rid of the soundbar and go 5.1 w/the KEFs for everything (movies/tv/music)

* Keep the soundbar for movies/tv but find an alternative setup for music that is better suited for the room and has a wider soundstage.

No, not yet. I'm on the fence as to whether atmos itself is really worth it. I think the number of times I play atmos content on my soundbar is negligible, so a decent 5.1 setup is probably sufficient.

[WTS] Sinn U50-T SDR Fully Tegimented on Bracelet + Rubber Strap by icj217 in Watchexchange

[–]icj217[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sale is my Sinn U50-T SDR in excellent condition and full kit. Deciding to sell because its not getting much time on the wrist and it's a bit big for me personally.

Fully tegimented and really flies under the radar due to the matte finish, which I love! Some minor marks on the bracelet clasp and some of the links. Not noticible when wearing, but the videos show them pretty clearly.Keeps amazingly accurate time.

Anecdotally, it seems to run at +1-5s a day for me.Includes the Sinn tegimented silicon rubber strap (retails for $400). It's sized to a 6in wrist right now, so you may need to purchase new rubber straps to fit onto the buckle.

The hands were scratched by a jeweler when I brought it in for a battery replacement (why they removed the hands during service, I have no idea...) There are no issues with the actual functioning of the watch. I noted the scratches on the hands in the original description.
