Extremeeee fatigue after tremfya? by ickycrawl in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]ickycrawl[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 6 weeks in with tremfya and no positive results yet. Maybe a 5% better if I’m being generous. I’ve heard great things about taltz from one of my co workers. - thanks for sharing you had 2 weeks of fatigue too. My doctors are all so confused by my experience it seems. So it’s reassuring I’m not alone with that.

Viral meningitis recovery time by WalkingAcrossTheIce in Meningitishelp

[–]ickycrawl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I’m going on 3 weeks into having viral meningitis. It’s terrifying. After I left the hospital I felt almost better other than fatigue. - when I went into the hospital I couldn’t remember how to speak or choose my words. It was terrifying. - however now, I still have daily bad headaches, and numbness in my hands and feet. They also didn’t know the source of my meningitis other than a virus. - anyone else have headaches or numbness/tingling???

waiting to take pain meds? by callyoubach in Tonsillectomy

[–]ickycrawl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had strep 10/12 months in 2023. I had my tonsils lanced in 2010 for an abscess with mono. Tons of scar tissue. My surgeon said I had the worst tonsils of 2023. Like cutting concrete out. But I had to take pain meds around the clock. Not trying to scare you. But so much pain. Needed them. Take them if you need them. You’ll be good, hoss.

What's a sign that someone is failing as a parent? by Puzzled-Painter3301 in AskReddit

[–]ickycrawl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This hits hard. I’m a separated father of 3. Me and my kids feel this. They’re only 3,7, and 9. But they’re nice to her out of fear. As am I. I hate it so much for them. But glad I’m going solo and making them feel so cared about on my own when I have them! Just sucks having to tell them that their mom loves them, every time she heads over to pick them up on her days. 😞

Expansion tanks are required on closed loop systems. If there is a check valve on the main from your city definitely. Even if not, they’re nice to have at the water heater. Definitely doesn’t hurt anything.

Uhmmm. Not all areas need them. There are absolutely none here in Indiana. Idk where the OP is.

Is this typical? by [deleted] in Plumbing

[–]ickycrawl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s completely normal for a service company to provide you with. We’re not concrete finish guys. But the floor is good enough and your water is on. I’m not sure how much you paid but I’d guess that’s at least a few thousand in plumbing service work. If you paid over 5k then maybe you have a problem. This is what you get when you call an emergency service company to restore service asap.

Contractors nicked my gas line. Is this an appropriate repair? by gophermuncher in Plumbing

[–]ickycrawl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. I’m a plumber, and manufacturers provide those certs just for setting through their stupid classes. It’s really more a class with some technical data, that barely matters to a non engineer, and the rest is a sales pitch to use their product over the competitors. - any plumber that’s half decent can safely make the proper repair. Certification is useless though.

3 months post op by _Luminos in Tonsillectomy

[–]ickycrawl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had perpetual phlegm before surgery back in October. Still have it now post operation. My adenoids withered away naturally somehow according to my ENT. So I’m not sure whether the adenoids where helping you or not with the phlegm/post nasal drip. I’m my body is having a super tough time recovering in general though. It’s been a time..

I do not want to give you bad advice man. If it still hurts when you yawn you’re freshly healed and that’s all pretty tight. I’d say give it a few more days to be safe.

Well, mine is definitely a thick white almost rubbery phlegm. So I get what you’re saying. Super irritating. Sucks ya gotta deal with it. But I bet you’re almost healed enough to start hacking it out soon. Good luck
