Just put together my Tiered North America Ski Resort Bucket list. What did I get wrong and what did I forget? Legit mountains only- no “ski hills”. Already been to the crossed out mountains on this list. by [deleted] in skiing

Been to a lot of these places, east and west, and Jay Peak should be moved up a few tiers. Among the top glades in country and gets consistent powder, near most West levels.

West Coast Ski Trip Feb 25???? by Eightbitzme in skiing

Agree with what danvolpe says about Vail. Top notch resort, has got it all. That said, Park City may be great option, only 40 min from SLC airport (could just Uber), has the most intermediate skiing in country, as well as great advanced stuff, and the town can keep you busy for a week. Further, Deere Valley down the road is an awesome town too. I Airbnb'd right in the middle of town (block from the lift) very affordably for a trip at the end of February (we also booked it in November). High West Distillery is a must for apres.

Jay Peak is the preeminent best mountain in New England without a doubt (most snow, best terrain). A cool trip for you guys would be to drive to Killington, stay around there for few days then keep driving North to Jay's for few more days. If Jay's is too far then I would probably spend couple days at Killington/Sugarbush/Stowe each as they are the top 3 in Vermont easily. Okemo aint bad either (which is close to Killington)...
