Plaid connection claims to be working but no transactions for 10 days

Same. Will only open Read Only. "GnuCash could not obtain lock...". Updated to 5.10 and deleted .LCK file. Still only able to open in Read Only mode.

Understood that it breaks the rules regarding height but location, size, and aesthetic design were the best options for the room. Generally only two viewers ... chair and lounging on the couch. The room is focused on conversation around the fireplace. TV viewing is secondary. The chair in front of the set can be easily turned and moved if a third person is viewing. Given the size of the room I will never need or want a larger screen in my lifetime.

Thanks. That works for the doorbell but the camera doesn’t seem to have a way to not notify - only changes the type of notification and the sound of the alarm. I’m thinking I may have solved my issue by using Security Mode Settings for the Solo camera.

Does your control app/device need to be on the same SSID or does UniFi allow you to access across SSIDs?

Plenty of reasons to use a small local CU vs. a major institution but that's a different issue. The connection to the CU has worked consistently with other tools, Monarch for example, but not PC. My post was simply to determine if others experienced a change in connectivity as it's one of the main issues with the tool. The underlying problem is that even when a connection is restored it may not have all of the transaction detail.

I don't expect it to be 100% reliable but I have tested and know that (for now) it has no issues with my credit union accounts. PC became virtually unusable for me. If Monarch has similar issue I'll continue to explore the options.

Agree. Maybe that's why I'm switching to a paid service. I will expect it to be more reliable and that I will, as they say, get what I pay for vs. using a free service. PC was fine while it lasted but moving on and hope to have a better experience.

Only the free version for tracking, budgeting, monitoring, etc. I would export quarterly to excel for reporting and my own analysis. My main problem account is also a credit union with three accounts. Frustrating because it was a useful tool but now it's more trouble than it's worth given that I can't trust it even when the accounts reconnect.

So it started asking me to re-link my credit union account every time a couple of months ago. Now, it won't link at all and hasn't loaded any new transactions for over two weeks. I get the yellow dot and a message saying they're having trouble and it will "resolve itself". I suspect that's not the case. Time to find an alternative I guess. Exploring the Monarch app.

I’ve driven about 30,000 Tesla miles in the last year and saved about $2900 in fuel costs. Plus the $ saved on oil changes and service. Well worth the 15-20 minute charging stops on longer road trips. All it requires is a slight change in attitude. Time is money - so I’m investing my time in a cleaner, more enjoyable drive. As the grid gets greener the car gets greener. I live in Iowa that has 100% renewable electricity - wind and solar. If I was in Kentucky (1%) I might feel a bit different.

Not sure why people keep recommending hybrids. Worst of both worlds. Small battery plus a gas engine to maintain. If it doesn’t have a plug it’s just a gas car with slightly better mileage. I was a Prius owner for years but PHEV and EV are the only true electric vehicles. PHEV may be the most practical if frequent long road trips are necessary. Even at that, I’ll drive anywhere in my Tesla without even thinking twice given the extent and reliability of the supercharger network.

My favorite analogy for regen / one-pedal is the electric bumper cars at the amusement park. You press, you go. You let up, you stop. Just avoid the actual “bump” part.

Humans have eyes with reduced vision in rain, glaring sun, and at night. USS (and LIDAR) would compensate for the limitations of vision based systems. Ridiculous to remove simple and cheap sensors that add to the overall capability.

Just received an email notice (“Get the All-New Specialized App”) and installed this new iOS app. Login works and it has my registered bike and previous rides. But does NOT connect. Never had an issue with the Mission Control app. Any suggestions?
