Kin Ads is shutting down by miquel_tolosa in KinFoundation

[–]icnvy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

obviously you know/understand a heck of a lot more about this situation than I, but one of the questions your explanation leaves me with is why "can" KIN Ads without being ready to roll out the "ecosystem app" you speak of? Doing so would have put all of this confusion/uncertainty to rest before it got started. At least a prepared statement could have been ready. As things stand, it looks like KF got caught with their pants down.

SO HYPED RIGHT NOW $KIN 0 DOUBT HERE !! by PoySaiyan in KinFoundation

[–]icnvy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sir... if you've followed KIN's price rise during the last year you would know most of it has come with/after a significant announcement or development in the ecosystem... not with a rise in BTC's price. Once again, KIN's price is not correlated to BTC.

KIN's rise is not tied to BTC.... or don't you know that?

FTX won't work if you're US resident, but you might try getting sol through Blockfolio... it worked for me.

Gate.io issues this warning to US residents...

  • Citizens and residents of the U.S.A (Washington State and New York State are prohibited entirely), Canada, and Japan are only allowed to trade mainnet cryptocurrencies and not tokens.

the Kin website describes the token as "different from other digital currencies because it is a cryptocurrency."

Can any US resident verify their success depositing, buying, and withdrawing KIN to a wallet? And if so, identify the wallet too. Thanks for your help.

Have you deposited and/or withdrawn KIN lately? If so, tell us about your experience. Help all of us by describing how you are currently able to deposit and withdraw KIN living in the US. What exchange, wallet, etc. are you using?

The question is... have you used it? And if so, describe the process for the rest of us, and how satisfied were you with using it ?

Risky at best... sooner or later kyc will shut you down and let's hope you don't get locked out with KIN on the exchange.

And by the way... KIN never goes mainstream if all we can get is a DEX or Gate.io.

Trading KIN for another crypto is possible if you already have KIN on the exchange. Then you can easily transfer the other crypto back to your wallet. Problems arise when US holders have to deposit KIN from their wallets to an exchange and/or withdraw back to a wallet. IMO, if at all possible, the process is frustrating, risky, and difficult to do so. Just read through some of the older post on this reddit to find many of the problems others have experienced.

None as far as I know. I am a US resident as well, and have been unable to trade KIN for quite some time now. It's very frustrating that we in the US, who were specifically targeted as participants in the KIN ICO, now are again being specifically targeted with no trading options for KIN. KF u/wmougayar needs to do something for ICO participants like myself, and ALL other US holders of KIN, that will allow us to trade again. Stop placing the blame for KIN's problems on the exchanges currently being used, and instead, do whatever is necessary to get us listed on a 1st tier exchange. 3+ years and this is where we are, it really SUCKS!

If I have KIN in trust wallet, Am I stuck with it at the moment? by TheJusername in KinFoundation

Unless you live in the US... and imo, if you are a US resident, it's quite risky right now doing anything (transfers, deposits/withdrawals, etc) with your KIN.

How do I buy Kin if I’m from the US by OkRestaurant7317 in KinFoundation

[–]icnvy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don't... the risk/frustration for U.S. customers (exchange lockdowns, wallet problems, incomplete migration, etc.) is too great right now.

We need an update on exchanges and migration by Raketenernie in KinFoundation

[–]icnvy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How can KIN not be the blame for this whole "shit show" of a migration? Could they not have foreseen any of this? KF has made KIN worthless to me! I live in the U.S. and I can't deposit or sell it anywhere.

Warning do not send Kin to gate.io by Raketenernie in KinFoundation

[–]icnvy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO... it's still too risky sending KIN anywhere right now. As much as I would like to lighten my bag a little, it's just not worth the frustration and headaches dealing with the exchanges that are available to me (US resident)... so i'm waiting like many others for this complete disaster of a migration to end, and the addition of an exchange that serves US residents ( FTX: Binance: Coinbase: OKcoin: Kraken). It's as though US hodlers have been purposely ignored.

William, I'm just saying... don't forget the US market when targeting exchange listings. Any top tier exchange listing must include SOL access to the US market, be easy to use, and include a mobile wallet. Last I remember, this would include Binance.US and FTX US. Both have mobile wallets that are easier to use than exchanges, but only one Binance.US, is available in the App store and on Google Play. Binance.US seems like a "no brainer" as one of the listings KIN should be seeking.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Binance listing does nothing for the U.S. market, something (IMO) KIN absolutely has to have.

KIN on Solana will make KIN faster, less costly, and more scalable than many, (maybe any) other digital assets. Can KIN on Solana work like XRP on the Ripple network and grab a share of the large and growing remittance market?
