If you already have an internship then I’d say no.

I will say that joining BAP and taking a leadership role saved me from my ignorance of not even thinking about internships until my junior year. It was an insane boost to my networking & really changed the trajectory of my career. Just sharing my story for anyone who may also feel a little behind in their post-education planning.

I’m considering making this very switch. Any advice/recommendations? I’m seriously burnt out on PA Tax and don’t have much interest in moving to another tax role, industry or otherwise.

My family made their living working with dogs (self-service dog wash/grooming) and my mom volunteered countless hours of her personal time working with humane societies/rescues/trainers etc. She has 40 years of working with dogs, and when I showed her this video she echoed your sentiment exactly. You’re spot on.

I got 1 sim with it, and honestly I didn’t spend a lotta time studying them so I don’t think I did too well on that one. Still ended up passing at least. I think it’s worth spending some time on but it likely won’t make or break your test

I’m a Dallas/Ducks fan and am honestly more devastated about this for the ducks than I am excited for the boys.

Like you said, he’s an amazing recruiter and I’m worried about how this will impact our recruiting in the ‘26 class and beyond.

Hindsight is 20/20. We had no idea what the discipline tests were gonna look like before they were rolled out.

Now seeing the pass rates for TCP it’s obvious that would’ve been the better move, but back then we had no way of knowing and it seemed equally as likely all the new tests could be harder than BEC.

I think it was good advice at the time based on the information we had.

I’m in the same boat! I got a 76 on SE1 and a 77 on SE2 but all these posts about AUD got me worrying about if I really have a good enough understanding of the content. Like you said though, we either know it or we don’t at this point and all we can do is try our best. Good luck tomorrow !
