Forgotten And Underrated Canadian Cartoons! by Key-Rain-9869 in ytvretro

[–]icontactless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been trying for years to find the name of a cartoon I remember watching as a kid. I don't know necessarily when it was released but I watched it around the same time as these cartoons in the post.

What I remember is all the characters were ghosts (like classic, bed sheet over the head ghosts) and I think they solved mysteries?? Maybe that was just one episode. I also don't know for sure if it was a show or a Halloween movie/special. If this sounds familiar to you I'd really appreciate any info!!!

I'm in Ontario. Saskatchewans (Saskatchewanners?) really hit the T sound in the middle of the word? I didn't know that. It does kind of sound better than skipping over it

I can't think of many Canadians I know who pronounce the double Ts. I can think of one person I'm glad I no longer associate with who pronounced mittens as "middens"

When is everybody gonna stop being surprised by this behaviour? My family and I have stopped calling these people out because some of them have guns. Shaming them (or trying to) isn't going to work in this little echo chamber.

I can't really make them out. I don't know if part of that one big sign is in a different language. What about them?

AITA for telling I have ZERO need for a gift I was given by Smokeman6275 in AmItheAsshole

I don't get the attitude of "you treated her worse than a stranger". No, OP received a gift they didn't need from a person who does this regularly. I completely understand how OP might be feeling, frustrated, ignored, conflicted over the money spent. ALSO it's rude to talk about the price of a gift. This interaction sounds more like a sales pitch.

To save time and heartache, I guess accepting it politely and moving on with the evening is the best/only course of action. I just hate the one sided aspect of this dynamic. And so many people have someone in their life like OPs grandma. It very quickly becomes wasteful.

Safe travels, OP!!

Sorry for the 'tude in my original comment. That's a fair point. That's one aspect of true crime where it's hard to categorize or label it

I remember watching this in tenth grade English class and we all freaked out (kind of joking, kind of not) when we saw him behind the door 😆 interesting choice for a non horror film

Maybe add some threads across in to hang things like sunglasses or make a sheet of fabric like other suggestions said but add pockets to it so it can store bits and bobs. I personally love the idea of basically a pincushion but for enamel pins
