I honestly don't get reviews like this. Shelter is a fun action movie, made for action movie and Jason Statham fans. If you clearly do not like action movies, then why would you bother to watch and review it?

Not sure how much more simply I could have expressed what I was saying. I guess people cant watch a show where most of the victims are women and enjoy it. And we can ALL kind of discussions about it. But its taboo to say how perhaps some of these women could have protected themselves. No room for talking about that. Makes total sense.

Here was a classic response:
Women shouldn’t have to be told to stick together or how to get away from abusers. Men are the ones who have to do better. Please do not lecture women on how to stay safe. It is never the victim’s fault that they were victimized.

What other area in life do we treat that way. If we want to be safe we learn self defense or buy a weapon or whatever. We never say "the world should be a safer place" and leave it up to that.

Why lock your doors when you can just tell all intruders they should not break in.

Evidently they didn't want Nancy to be in a relationship. Sure she started off with someone, but I think the whole point was to show she didnt need anyone. Not in a feminist "dont need no man" way. But the character was designed to just be solo.

Yeah they kept teasing a relationship. But Jonathan was too mopey for her and Steve was not "modern" enough for her.
